Dining at The Bull & Butcher, Akeley

Freshly cooked from locally sourced ingredients, food at The Bull & Butcher represents a step up from your usual pub grub.

Head Chef David Knight crafts a classic collection of crowd-pleasing dishes every day between Thursday and Sunday, with menus printed daily to make the most of the seasons’ freshest fare - including fabulous local game birds in the winter.


On the Bar

From cask ale to coffee, ciders to spirits, The Bull & Butcher’s bar is well stocked with all your favourite liquid refreshments.

We’ve got a great range of ales and lagers (including a regularly rotating selection of seasonal brews), and for something a little different, we have a solid stable of still ciders, too.

Our wine list, meanwhile, features more than 20 hand-selected bottles from around the world, with eight available by the glass.

And, if you just fancy a cup of tea or coffee, no problem - we’ve got fresh cafetierre coffee and a range of delicious tea blends with your name on.
